For our first project we created a footprint introduction. We traced one of our feet and decorated it with items that described us as a way to introduce ourselves to the class. We had to use three different mediums to decorate our footprint, I used a digital image, pictures colored with crayon, and marker. This project was a way for us to get to know our classmates and introduce ourselves in a fun, creative way! As an extension activity I would have the students choose four things from their footprint that they feel are the most important to them. Then, I would have various colored sands and the students would pick one color to represent each thing they found important and place the sands in a jar. The students would then explain to the class what each color sand represented.
